New features included in this Hanse 588 are a new powerful sailing plane with a high mast and a second bow profile for a Reacher / Genancker or Code 0 (C). The well-sized cockpit comes with elegant options such as a stylish T-top and a grill bar. One of the most important points in the standard equipment is a “Silent-master” cab, which gives the boat owner a unique feeling of peace and relaxation.
Hanse 588 is elegant
Elegant and distinctive lines characterize the unique design of Hanse. The new Hanse 588 reinforces this style through a low and elegant deck, expressive details and thus combines elegant sovereignty with sporty elegance.
The exclusive interior presents itself well with a harmonizing material and room concept and sets new trends for Hanse Yachts. Shapes with glued curves create the feeling of freestanding furniture and provide a exquisitely modern and elegant interior. The feel of handmade wooden details runs horizontally throughout the boat and conveys space and tranquility.
The new “Silent Master” cab-visualizes core values like “Breaking rules-setting trends”
Silence is a valuable commodity in today’s world. It helps us to relax and gives us a moment for ourselves. Hanse therefore developed a Silent master cab for the new Hanse 588. It is built with specially developed sound insulation and protects the cabin against sound from the boat and the external environment.
Pumps and other electrical appliances were moved to other parts of the boat to offer complete relaxation. This step is unique in series-produced yachts and converts a master stateroom into an exclusive area for relaxation and recreation.
A floodlit lounge
The salon in the new Hanse 588 is the main living room on this sailboat. Here, friends and family gather to prepare meals and enjoy life with a glass of wine. The kitchen island, which can also be used as a handy cocktail bar, is the center. Alternatively, a nautical L-kitchen can be chosen.
The comfortable lounge accommodates many guests and offers two large facing U-sofas. Unique is the free height. With a ceiling height of 2.15 m, it sets a new standard in this class. A lot of light is provided by almost 3 m² large skylights, which consist of six openable windows. A perfect sea view is offered by six hull windows on either side of the boat, which are specially placed in seats. The retractable LED flat screen TV on the main floor completes the salon.
A sailboat at the forefront of technology
Of course, the new Hanse 588 is primarily a sailboat and is at the forefront of technology. It was designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co and the boat impresses with clean lines and a sporty character. At the other hand, the perfect combination of self-propelled Fock provides the standard for cross-bogs and Reacher for touring. Through hydraulic and electrical support, each maneuver can be easily performed by a person. The large optional T-tope in the cockpit protects against sun and rain and comes with an integrated light and sound system.
In addition, the large cockpit offers an optional BBQ-bar with barbecue, sink and freezer. A wide staircase leads down to the bathing platform, which is driven by hydraulic hinges. The large aft garage can accommodate a Williams Jet Tender 280 and is equipped with a launching system.
