The Hanse 461 is a new 46-foot sailing yacht from Hanse Yachts, developed in collaboration with Berret-Racoupeau. The new Hanse 461 is a modern 46-foot sailing yacht that combines excellent sailing performance with easy handling, generous spaces and extensive customisation options. The model also introduces an entirely new Beach Club at the stern, creating a natural connection between the cockpit and the sea.
Twenty years after the success of the original model, the Hanse 461 returns in an entirely new generation. Developed in collaboration with the renowned Berret-Racoupeau, the yacht builds on the highly regarded qualities of the Hanse 460 while introducing new solutions for easier sailing, greater comfort and an even better life on board.

Despite its spacious layout, the Hanse 461 is an easy-to-handle and responsive sailing yacht. Consequently, the model is equally well suited to comfortable family cruising and to sailors who appreciate speed and efficiency on longer passages.
In addition, several keel options are available, allowing the yacht to be tailored to its home port, local water depth and intended cruising area.
Easy Sailing – sail Hanse 461 shorthanded
The Hanse 461 has been developed in accordance with Hanse Yachts’ renowned Easy Sailing Concept. This means that all key sailing functions can be controlled directly from the helm stations, allowing the yacht to be sailed safely and efficiently by a small crew.
The self-tacking jib makes tacking effortless, while the twin helm stations provide excellent visibility forward and allow easy movement through the cockpit. In addition, the Hanse 461 can be equipped with electric furling systems and additional electric winches for even more convenient sail handling.
As the mainsheet is positioned on the coachroof, the cockpit remains open and free from unnecessary lines. This improves safety while also creating a more comfortable environment for family and guests.
A Flexible Sail Plan for Different Wind Conditions
The sail plan of the Hanse 461 can be tailored to how and where the yacht will be sailed. In addition to the self-tacking jib, the model can be equipped with a staysail, reacher or gennaker.
This allows the sail area to be adapted for both light winds and more demanding conditions. The result is a sailing yacht that combines easy handling with excellent potential for fast and efficient sailing.
Hanse 461 Beach Club – closer to water
One of the most distinctive new features of the Hanse 461 is its redesigned stern. Here, the spacious bathing platform and ergonomically designed lounge seats come together to create a generous Beach Club close to the water.
When the bathing platform is lowered, it creates a natural space for swimming, relaxation and socialising. As a result, the stern becomes more than just access to the water—it forms an integral part of the yacht’s social areas..
The cockpit can also be equipped with a wet bar and an electric or gas barbecue, making it easy to prepare meals and socialise outdoors. A fixed fibreglass hardtop and various canvas options can provide protection from both sun and rain.
Bright and spacious interior
Below deck, the new Hanse 461 offers a bright, modern interior with impressive volume. Four large hatches above the saloon provide an abundance of natural light, while a total of 26 opening ventilation points help create a pleasant climate on board.
The wide hull creates generous space in both the saloon and the cabins. At the same time, well-designed storage solutions, carefully selected materials and new textile options create an exclusive and inviting atmosphere.
The interior is therefore ideally suited to both shorter sailing holidays and extended stays on board.
Choose Between Three or Four Cabins
The Hanse 461 is available with several different cabin layouts. In the bow, you can choose between a spacious owner’s cabin with a freestanding double bed or two separate forward cabins.
Depending on the chosen layout, the yacht can be configured with three or four cabins. In addition, several options are available for the saloon, galley, guest cabins, utility area, technical room and storage spaces.
