About your ordered boat

When the boat is ordered in the yard according to established specifications and the first invoices are paid, we will return within a preliminary month before the estimated delivery time of your boat. We receive preliminary information from the shipyard one month before about which week is provisionally calculated for delivery and we will receive final notice of the shipyard 10 days before the delivery date that we notify you by email. You as a buyer will be notified of changes in accordance with the purchase agreement for delivery time no later than the month that is estimated. At our final delivery notice from the shipyard, we send the customer the required documents, instructions and invoice.

Shipping and dispensing Instructions

You can choose to take home the boat on the truck or sail home your new Hanse to Sweden. When you choose a truck, launching, rigging and dispensing is done at one of our pickup points located in Gothenburg, Ljungskile, Stockholm, Malmö or Skellefteå.

When you want to sail the boat yourself, all rigging, inspection and handover is done at the shipyard in Germany. Transport of Hanse yachts can be carried out to all parts of Sweden. Quotation is provided on request. Transports are carried out by professional conveyors with custom trailers for large sailboats. Depending on the size of the boat, transports are carried out together with the accompanying vehicle. When the boat is ready in the factory, an inspection is performed that the customer gets results and proof of STT boat is ready and move from the factory’s property. Delivery and handover of the boat to you is always done together with personnel from Bohus Charter or with one of our partners. The handover includes a structured program where the boat is carefully reviewed from for to acts according to a checklist. The handover also includes a complete review of the boat with information about the handling of both the boat as well as the equipment installed.

Extradition in Greifswald

When your boat goes out of the production hall, there are a few things left to prepare before the boat is ready for delivery to you. Now it’s time for you to end-pay the boat and we and the yard do the following with the boat:

  • We do a final inspection. Any remarks are corrected. We send you a link for documentation and images the deviations in the Protocol are reported to Hanse for action.
  • Since the boat is now handed over to the purchaser/financier, you must obtain insurance from Pantaenius immediately. To the application
  • Ev. Base painting and epoxy treatment.
  • Ev. Mounting of equipment as an option.
  • The boat is launched.
  • The boat is rigged. Here everything is assembled in terms of rig, sprayhood, cockpit, etc.
  • We at BohusYachts inspect the boat.

Once this is done, which can be 3 to 5 working days, it is time for you to come down to Greifswald to pick up your new Hanse. At the handover, we will walk you through the boat and show you how all the components work and go through the operation of the boat. Then you can move into the boat and sail home. About 08.00 trains to Stralsund/Greifswald with a change in Stralsund, arriving in G approx 09.30.
Taxi to Hanse/Yacht Werft, Salinenstraße 22, where the boat is launched.

Have your luggage on wheels/preferably a separate cart with a large bag on.
Take with gas bottle 2 kg.
Note! Do not show it for it is not allowed to have neither on boat nor train.

Then select Navionics Gold XL9 44XG SD If you are going to sail in the Baltic Sea or 45 SD if you are going to sail on the west Coast, southern Norway and Denmark.
Get yourself an electronic “back up” by purchasing the same charts for example an ipad. It is incomprehensible that the Turtle ambush card costs lessthe than 1/5 of what they cost to the Chartplotter!!.
There is a footbridge over the canal. Go over this and straight up in the city and you will come to a square where you can buy delicious fresh produce. The closest grocery store for basic goods is further west. Walk on the street Lange Strasse 40-42 where there pimple a small mall. At the end of this there is the grocery store. It is open until 21 and after 18.00 You can go down by the street next to enter the store.
Then we are in place from Bohus charter gladly at hand. If we have come by car, we can always drive you to the large shopping centre located in the entrance to Greifswald.

Bring a landstream cable with a standard EU-Don 16A connection.

While also using a 230V adapter can be useful as some guest ports do not have a power supply connection for a land-stream connection.

Extradition in Sweden

  • The yard makes a final inspection.
  • Ev. Base painting and epoxy treatment.
  • Ev. Mounting of equipment as an option.

Then it’s time to ship it by truck to any of the pickup points, Göteborg, Ljugnskile, Stockholm, Malmö or Skelleftehamn. When your boat has arrived, some elements remain to be done before the boat is ready for delivery to you. We do the following with the boat:

  • The boat is launched.
  • The boat is rigged. Here everything is assembled in terms of rig, sprayhood, cockpit, etc.
  • We at Bohus Charter inspect the boat.

Once this is done, which can be 3 to 5 working days, it is time for you to pick up your new Hanse. At the extradition we will together with you go through the boat and show you how all the components work and go through the handling of the boat. After that, the boat is completely ready and it’s time to sail out.
